BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS 

 

Bookings & Booking Deposit 

Once you have agreed your holiday with SEASIDE CHALETS, the booking will be reserved for 7 working days.

A £50 booking deposit and a completed booking form is required within this period to secure your reservation, unless otherwise agreed.

If the deposit and booking form are not received within this period, the reservation will expire.

We will however, try to contact you by phone or email just in case there has been an oversight.

Upon receipt, SEASIDE CHALETS will confirm your holiday booking in writing or via e-mail, indicating the balance amount and the date required.

Bookings made within 28 days of the start date of the holiday will require immediate full payment, again, unless otherwise agreed.

The Deposit is a booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.

 

Security Deposit

In addition to the booking deposit, a refundable security deposit will be required. 

Please advise Alisson if you are unhappy with your accommodation at the beginning of your holiday.

This security deposit is refunded in full, within 7 days of the end of the holiday, on condition that the chalet is left in a good clean condition with no damage, breakages, lost keys, soiled beds or bed linen etc.

The security deposit is added to the final balance of your holiday and will not be withheld without good reason.

Security Deposit Rates:

Chalet 130:  £50

Chalet 117:  £75 with pet or £50 without.

 

Balance Payment

The payment balance is due 5 weeks before the commencement of your holiday.  Failure to make the final payment by the due date will be regarded as cancellation of your booking, unless otherwise agreed.

We will, however, try to contact you via phone or email just in case there is an oversight.

 

Payment by Instalments

To make paying for your holiday easier, we are happy to take payment by instalments in amounts that suit your budget. The full amount must be paid in full 5 weeks prior to your holiday commencing.

Check In

We will meet you at the chalet to hand over the keys and to answer any questions you may have.

Chalets will be available from 1.00pm on the start date of your holiday, unless advised otherwise.

It may sometimes be possible to check in earlier, if your chalet has been serviced and cleaned in good time.

Please contact us by phone on 07884 076297 after 12.00pm to see if this is a possibility.

 

Check Out

Check Out for all Chalets is at 10.30am on the day of departure.

You will be met at the chalet for a personal check out and for the collection of the keys.

If you need to vacate the chalet prior to this, please contact SEASIDE CHALETS on 07884 076297.

Please remove all rubbish and food from the chalet and deposit in the refuse bins situated around the site.

Please note, should additional cleaning, repairs or item replacements be required, it could compromise the return of your security deposit.

 

Lost keys

Please call Alisson on 07884 076297.

Lost or mislaid keys will incur a £40.00 charge, per key. This charge will need to be collected at the time the new key/keys are issued.  This includes the cost of a call out.

There may be a delay in issuing you replacement keys, but we will endeavour to get to you as quickly as we can.

Changes to your booking – made by SEASIDE CHALETS

In the unlikely event that booked accommodation should not be available or habitable, SEASIDE CHALETS will offer you alternative accommodation if this is available. Should alternative accommodation, not be available, SEASIDE CHALETS will issue an immediate full refund and attempt to source local accommodation for you.

We will of course give you as much notice as is possible and will try our very best to sort out any problems should they occur.

SEASIDE CHALETS will not be liable for any additional expenses or consequential losses incurred or suffered by you.

SEASIDE CHALETS reserve the right to refuse admission to:
a) Any person, including children that are not named on the booking form.
b) Any person, who in the opinion of SEASIDE CHALETS are not suitable to take charge of the chalet.

In these circumstances, no refund will be issued. However, if Seaside Chalets is instructed to close down the business for reasons such as COVID-19, then a full refund will be issued immediately, unless you instruct us to carry your holiday over.

 

Changes to your booking – made by you

Should you wish to change the dates of your booking, this will be deemed as a cancellation of your booking and cancellation provisions will apply unless we can accommodate the alternative dates.

Please ensure you that you correctly book the accommodation and week(s) you require.

Cancellation

Your booking with SEASIDE CHALETS is a legal contract.

If you cancel your holiday more than 90 days prior to the arrival date for the start of your holiday, your deposit will be non-refundable.

However, if you cancel your holiday, 90 days or less from the start date, no refund will be offered.

Cancellation should be made in writing or by e-mail.

  

Sundowner Holiday Park – Site Rules

As the chalet is on a managed holiday park, the site owner therefore has the right to ask any person to leave the site if their behaviour is unacceptable.

In these circumstances, no refund will be made by SEASIDE CHALETS.

A copy of the site rules are clearly displayed within the chalet.

All Male/Female Parties 

Bookings for all male and female parties are NOT accepted.

Smoking

All chalets are strictly NON SMOKING.

Pets

Chalet 130 – NO PETS

Chalet 117 – PETS ACCEPTED

LINEN IS NOT PROVIDED WHEN PETS ACCOMPANY THE BOOKING PARTY.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT PETS ARE KEPT OFF THE FURNITURE AND BEDS/BEDDING AS THIS COULD COMPROMISE THE RETURN OF YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT.

Car Parking

There is ample car parking on the Sundowner site.

It is free but unreserved.

All vehicles and their belonging are left at their owner’s risk.

On-site Facilities

There are NO on-site facilities available on the Sundowner Holiday Park.

Holiday Insurance 

It is our recommendation that you take out holiday insurance to cover loss or injury during your holiday.

Liability

SEASIDE CHALETS shall not be liable for the death of, or injury to any person (except as prohibited by law),
nor for any loss or damage to personal property of any person on holiday visiting the Sundowner Holiday Park or any accommodation booked through SEASIDE CHALETS – HEMSBY.
